The Outlander PHEV
Mitsubishi is making one plug-in hybrid electric vehicle for 2023, the Outlander PHEV, a compact SUV with a 20 kWh battery. It’s a powerful option, kicking out a nice 332 lb-ft of torque. Drivers will love how quickly it responds to demands for acceleration and that it never feels like it’s lagging when you utilize its 1,500-pound towing capacity. It gets a massive 420-mile range, which equates to an estimated 64 MPGe combined.
